Emlyn Wright is an education professional with over two decades of experience across the secondary sector, including leadership of a Teaching School Alliance and two headships in both maintained and academy settings.
With deep expertise in educational leadership and strategy, Emlyn specialises in self-evaluation and development planning, Ofsted readiness, curriculum and financial integration, teaching and learning improvement, high-impact pupil premium strategies, and data-driven progress tracking and intervention at both whole-school and pupil levels.
Currently serving as a senior leader within Children's Services for a Local Authority in the Greater Manchester Combined Authority, Emlyn leads on Early Years (quality, inclusion, and sufficiency), school improvement across primary and secondary phases, school organisation (place planning and admissions), and governance. He also holds a two-day-per-week secondment with the Department for Education as a Regional Improvement in Standards and Excellence (RISE) Adviser.
Beyond education, Emlyn has a strong interest in heritage and conservation, particularly their social and educational value. He is proud to serve as a Trustee for both St George's Hall Charitable Trust and The Sefton Park Palm House Preservation Trust.

More recently Lynne has worked independently supporting schools in all areas of management and governance functions. Lynne provides support ranging from day-to-day hands-on work, project delivery, reviews, training for Snr Leadership, Support Staff, and all for all those involved in Governance. Lynne worked for one of the largest Multi Academy Trusts comprising 80+ schools supporting School Business Leaders, Principals, LGB’s and the Trust, focussing on all aspects of school business management and procurement. Alongside this Lynne headed up the CPD development for 3,500 support staff and instrumental in introducing the trust to the Apprenticeship Levy and CPD opportunities for all staff from introductory level to higher degree courses.
Lynne has supported many schools on the school improvement journey. Gaining a wealth of knowledge and understanding of the complexities and demands of this journey. Working closely with Principals, SLT and Governance teams, prioritising the raising of standards and ensuring the best possible provision for every child in achieving the best they can be. Carefully budgeting, often turning around large deficit budgets, and facilitating resources to assist this journey.

Jide is a doctoral researcher in stem cells and regenerative medicine and an enthusiastic scientist. I am a member of several organisations, including the Royal Society of Biology, the British Society for Cell Biology, and the International Society of Developmental Biology, among others. I am a co-opted governor at a primary school with more than seven years of experience collaborating with other professionals within a multidisciplinary team to assist the school in the areas of strategic planning, budgeting and finance, resource management, and educational performance.
